Discover the topic of mobility together with your children at Mobiversum. There are numerous opportunities for both younger and older children to play, move, build, do handicrafts and chill out. In addition to exercise and feel-good areas, you will also find a protected breastfeeding area that offers space to retreat.
Children who have become hungry from running around and playing can not only eat their fill at the Amano restaurant next door, but can also become pizza bakers themselves by making their own pizzas.

Building and discovery area in the Mobiversum

Area for construction and exploration

Bridges, obstacle courses, and so much more: This two-part construction and exploration area gives kids an opportunity for creative construction. The front area has changing wooden construction blocks for kids to try things out, design countless architectural creations and generally let their creativity run wild. The back of the new area has blue blocks that can be combined in any which way.
Age recommendation for the back area: 3–6 years

toddlers' area

Our toddlers’ area is aimed at our youngest guests up to three years old. They can play and try out their coordination skills in a protected and padded space. A variety of play elements encourage kids to explore, overcome challenges, and start building.

Recommended age: up to 3 years

Chill-out area

Our chill-out furnishings give young people the perfect place to stop and chill – original seating with free Wi-Fi and a view onto our parklands. This gives you a perfect place to meet up with friends, listen to music with your headphones, or just chill and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.
Recommended age: 12 years and older

On entering the Mobiversum an enormous sculpture, not unlike a root, immediately catches one’s eye. Its design, and the challenges it offers to children’s motor skills, is quite unique. Depending on age and ability, everyone from young children to adults will be able to move around the sculpture’s different levels. Even the smallest visitor has a special area, a place where they can crawl and learn about movement.

workstations

Knowledge, practical skills, creativity and tradition come together at the workstations located in the centre of the Mobiversum. Imaginative programmes encourage children, teens and families to take part in a variety of hands-on activities. From developing motor skills, to using tools and small machines, or exploring social issues, participants can discover the many different dimensions of creative processes. Everyone is welcome to test their skills and explore new and valuable experiences.

Kids’ indoor driving area

Children and adolescents can discover various vehicles in an open driving space – and try to make them move. This requires curiosity and experimentation: because it’s not always clear at first glance how the vehicles actually work. That’s why they also have creative names such as “Funcart” and “Racer Snake”. Each vehicles poses a different sensory and motoric challenge that enables youngsters to completely rediscover mechanical movement.

breastfeeding area

We have a cosy breastfeeding area to give mums a comfortable, peaceful safe space to breastfeed or parents to soothe their baby in a relaxed atmosphere. The area will ensure that mums and babies feel comfortable with cosy seating in peaceful surroundings. You can also use this area as a retreat from the hustle and bustle of Mobiversum and enjoy a few precious moments of peace and quiet.

Workshop kitchen

Whether seasonal pastries, healthy snacks for the lunch box or other dishes: children and young people can practise their baking and cooking skills in vacation and other workshops in a specially equipped kitchen in the Mobiversum. It's worth taking a look at our calendar of events to keep up to date.

You will find the Mobiversum on the first floor of the Group Forum. It is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00 (subject to change during event times).
