Exhibition – Group Forum

AI and you

Focus on artificial intelligence

It can write poetry, recognise road signs, compose music – and it keeps on learning: This is artificial intelligence or AI. Our AI and you exhibition has eight topical areas exploring how AI has already affected everyday life on so many levels while also shaping our future.

AI to explore and try out

Come and explore the many areas application areas of AI as well as its features and learning processes at our Group Forum. See for yourself how a robot solves a maze and learn more about how neural networks work at the exhibition’s stations. Or watch AI as it recognises drawings and handwriting, interprets and adapts music, handles traffic sign recognition, and more. We’re sure you’ll find Blob to be well worth a look – a dynamic, constantly moving, abstract image that reacts to visitors using sensors.

Another exhibit showcases potential new job profiles emerging from AI as inspiration for personal career development.

Visit the WE & AI segment to explore our own ideas on AI in the Volkswagen Group.

Milestones, opportunities and risks

Our exhibition, like everyday life, reflects the ubiquitous presence of AI and the many ways it affects us. From medicine to autonomous driving, you’ll find AI almost everywhere, constantly changing the way we do things. A timeline covers the milestones we’ve seen in AI development. We showcase the opportunities that AI holds for us, but not without a critical look at how it’s being used. Many of the exhibits take an optimistic, creative, even artistic approach to AI, but others reflect on the issues that AI may cause in our society, such as in the ethics of AI in decision-making or its effects on the environment.

It’s all about you In the You & AI section. Here, you’re free to express your thoughts, desires, and concerns about AI – and be part of the collective opinion.
