PORSCHE PAVILION

THE FLEET: TWENTY-two SILVER CAR MODELS

You won’t find a single hard edge in the Porsche Pavilion interior, leaving plenty of wide-open space for you to explore. A fleet of twenty-eight 1:3-scale car models at the centre of the exhibition will take you on a journey through the development of the brand. Starting with Ferdinand “Ferry” Porsche’s dream car – the 1948 356 No. 1, the silver-coloured fleet fans out as it progresses through the hall, showing the development from initial models to the racing cars from Zuffenhausen. On top of that, three full-size models are part of the exhibition as well.

75 YEARS OF PORSCHE MOTORSPORT
A jubilee full of speed, innovation and emotion

Porsche looks back on 75 years of motorsport history – and brings this special anniversary to life in an impressive way at the Porsche Pavilion. The exhibition reveals how closely motorsport, technology and series production are connected – and why motorsport remains at the heart of the brand to this day.

EXPERIENCE ICONS OF MOTORSPORT UP CLOSE

At the heart of the exhibition are two exceptional vehicles: the Porsche 963 and the 911 RSR “World Champion.” The Porsche 963 represents the modern generation of prototype race cars and embodies peak performance and cutting-edge technology. As a “World Champion,” the Porsche 911 RSR stands for outstanding success and decades of racing heritage.

Set within a dynamically designed racetrack environment, both vehicles vividly convey the speed, precision and passion of motorsport. The “Raceborn” light installation further enhances this immersive experience.

Accompanying films provide fascinating insights into the excitement, expertise and development behind Porsche’s success story.

FROM MOTORSPORT TO THE ROAD

The exhibition not only looks back but also clearly ahead: In the epilogue room, a Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet (fuel consumption combined: 11.8–11.7 l/100 km, CO₂ emissions combined: 267–265 g/km, CO₂ class: G) illustrates how insights from various fields – including motorsport, Weissach, Formula E and sim racing – are incorporated into modern production vehicles.

It becomes clear: motorsport is far more than competition. It is a key driver of innovation, developing technologies that later become tangible on the road.
