Terms of use

The following Terms of Use apply to the Autostadt Media Portal:

1. All information and material provided by the Autostadt Media Portal, including text, images, audio and video files, are intended solely for personal information purposes, or may be used for editorial purposes in the social web, or, in the case of journalists, influencers and media enterprise employees, may be used as a source for their own editorial coverage.

2. The Autostadt Media Portal contains information concerning the company's future development and/or expectations. Autostadt GmbH assumes no liability for this information.

3. Information regarding data protection and the handling of personal details can be found in the data protection declaration. If you have any questions about personal details, please contact presse@autostadt.de.

Autostadt GmbH stores small data files (cookies) in your web browser when you visit the Autostadt Media Portal. You can determine the extent to which cookies are enabled or disabled by adjusting the settings in your web browser (Internet Explorer, etc.). Autostadt GmbH assumes that you agree to use cookies if your browser is set accordingly. Further information is provided in the Autostadt cookie guidelines

4. All content on the Autostadt Media Portal has been carefully researched and compiled. However, the information may contain errors or other inaccuracies. Autostadt GmbH assumes no liability for results obtained by using this information, in particular with regard to its accuracy, topicality and completeness.

5. Technical problems, such as delays in message delivery, cannot be ruled out when using the Autostadt Media Portal. Autostadt GmbH assumes no liability for any resulting damages.

6. The Autostadt Media Portal includes links to websites operated by third parties. Autostadt GmbH assumes no claim of ownership to third-party websites accessible via links and is not responsible for their content. After clicking on a link, the user leaves the domain of information provided by Autostadt GmbH. The content of such third-party sites may be subject to different rules or regulations.

7. Users of the Autostadt Media Portal are obligated to respect copyrights, name and trademark rights, and all other proprietary rights of Autostadt GmbH and any third parties. Journalists and media representatives are required to cite the source of any images, audio or video materials provided by the Autostadt Media Portal. Images, audio and video material marked “Promo” may be used for the aforementioned purposes, but only until the end of the following calendar year and exclusively for promotional purposes or editorial use in connection with the presentation in the Autostadt. There is no obligation to remove legally published promotion or editorial content, in particular from the Internet, during the period of use.

8. Granting rights of use does not constitute any additional rights for the user, especially proprietary rights. Autostadt GmbH may restrict or terminate use of the Autostadt Media Portal at any time and without stating a specific reason. The user has no implicit right to access the Autostadt Media Portal.

9. By acknowledging these Terms of Use, Autostadt Media Portal users agree to refrain from the following:

• Misuse of the Autostadt Media Portal in any form, in particular by circumventing any security measures used to protect the information services

• Use of any devices or applications that lead to, or could lead to damage or malfunction of the Autostadt Media Portal systems, in particular as a result of modifications to the physical or logical structure of servers or networks operated by Autostadt GmbH or its service providers, or to any other networks

• Integration of the information services, in whole or in part, into other private or commercial web content or to utilize the services for commercial purposes

10. Autostadt GmbH reserves the right to change these Terms of Use from time to time as necessary.

11. Dispute Resolution: Autostadt GmbH is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute settlement proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

These Terms of Use are governed by German law. The place of jurisdiction is the competent court for Autostadt GmbH.

If any provision of these Terms of Use is, or becomes, invalid, this will not affect the remaining provisions of the agreement. In lieu of the invalid provision, the parties shall add a valid provision that most closely approximates the economic intent of the invalid provision.
