Wolfsburg, 20 May 2021 – The Management Board of the Autostadt in Wolfsburg is now complete: Alongside Armin Maus, who has been appointed Chairman of the Management Board with immediate effect, and Mandy Sobetzko, Marco Schubert will be joining the Autostadt management board as its third member. The 41-year-old will take on the duties of Autostadt CFO in addition to his position as the head of Group Finance & Controlling and IT at Volkswagen AG.
Marco Schubert has a degree in economics and began his career with Volkswagen in the Group's Finance & Controlling department. He has held various finance positions with Volkswagen and Škoda Auto and was appointed to the Volkswagen AG General Secretariat in 2012. He returned to the Volkswagen finance department in 2017 and is currently responsible for Group Finance & Controlling and IT.
